These days it is getting more and more difficult for small businesses to get their message across to the competitive marketplace. This is where big brands hold the advantage over small businesses. Especially after the recent announcement of Google to give extra care for big brands, it will become more and more difficult for small businesses to promote their products on Google through Internet Marketing.
So how do small businesses compete with the big brands then? Google might have said they will be giving extra care to big brands but to be honest I haven’t really seen any changes in Google for my recent searches, so not sure what it is all about. I still believe small businesses can compete with the big boys by the help of Google’s very own pay per click toy called Adwords. These tools give opportunities for small businesses who are in competitive market such as promotional clothing, gambling, cars, insurance, clothing and many more.
There are many ways in which companies these days are looking to market their products and services. I will make it simple and put it in two categories – one Online Marketing and another Offline Marketing.
Online Marketing covers Websites, Email Marketing, Pay per click campaigns, Search Engine Optimisation and Article Marketing. Offline Marketing covers newspapers adverts, radio and TV adverts, leaflet advertising, magazine adverts, promotional pencils, mugs and t-shirts. Nowadays hitting the Online Marketing there is one more way of promoting your products and services which is through Social Media. Social Media tools such as Digg, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Twitter, Delicious, Reddit and many more has helped many big brands to build their followings on their profile. This works by creating a massive amount of followers who follow their comments and threads under their profiles, so whenever you write a new thread or comment about your current product offers, they will read it. Social Media is at the top at the moment and sooner the small businesses get into this the better it is for them.
promotional clothing and~Companies that produces promotional products and~Industries that produces promotional products and} personalised gifts, Social Media is a fantastic opportunity to market their brand name and products as you can target both businesses and individuals.
